Today’s Scripture
“At that time the disciples came to ask Jesus, “Who is considered to be the greatest in heaven’s kingdom realm?” Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them, “Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable, and learn about heaven’s kingdom realm with the wide-eyed wonder of a child, you will never be able to enter in. Whoever continually humbles himself to become like this gentle child is the greatest one in heaven’s kingdom realm. And if you tenderly care for this little one on my behalf, you are tenderly caring for me. But if anyone abuses one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for him to have a heavy boulder tied around his neck and be hurled into the deepest sea than to face the punishment he deserves!”
Matthew 18:1-6

Today’s Thought
Humility is the key to greatness. It's the characteristics of humility that allow people to achieve great things for the Kingdom of God. Humility is the ability to withdraw, yield, and surrender from your own opinion; it’s a submissive attitude to take on only God’s opinion.

Today’s Confession
Lord help me to be humble toward the people in my life and in all things that I do. I will purposely change the way I think so that I can learn about Heaven’s Kingdom and wonders. Help me to surrender my opinions and focus only on what God says about a thing.
