Today’s Scripture

Wisdom is a gift from a generous God, and every Word he speaks is full of revelation and becomes a fountain of understanding within you. For the Lord has a hidden storehouse of wisdom made accessible to his godly lovers. He becomes your personal bodyguard as you follow his ways, protecting and guarding you as you choose what is right. Then you will discover all that is just, proper, and fair, and be empowered to make the right decisions as you walk into your destiny. When wisdom wins your heart and revelation breaks in, true pleasure enters your soul.  If you choose to follow good counsel, divine design will watch over you and understanding will protect you from making poor choices.

Today’s Thought

Pain isn’t permanent but some of the decisions you make in moments of pain are. Don’t let painful seasons of your life become permanent reminders by making unwise decisions in them!

Today’s Confession

Father, I thank you for your generous gift of wisdom, I pray it becomes a fountain of understanding within me, protecting and guarding me. Holy Spirit, help me to meditate and receive revelation from the wisdom in my heart. As I walk through the seasons of my life, help me to recognize that the pain I experience is not permanent. Lord, thank you for your wise counsel reminding me to not make hasty decisions when I’m in a difficult season.
