Read Proverbs 3:9-10 TPT: 9Glorify God with all your wealth, honoring him with your first fruits, with every increase that comes to you. 10Then every dimension of your life will overflow with blessings from an uncontainable source of inner joy!

Think about this: Today is the final day of our 21 days of prayer and fasting. For the past three weeks you have honored God as you have been obedient to fast and spend time with Him in prayer. Tomorrow as we close out our time of prayer and fasting we will give and seal our fast with our first fruits offering. In the Old Testament, the Lord spoke to Moses as the people were getting ready to enter the Promise Land. Leviticus 23:10 AMP 10“Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am giving you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. The First Fruits Offering demonstrated the Israelites obedience to God and the reverence they had for Him. It also represented their trust in Him. They showed that they trusted Him to provide for their needs. 

As we get ready to sow our First Fruits offering, pray and ask God what He wants you to sow this year. Then be obedient to give, without obligation or grudgingly. Sow your seed, believing that as you put God first, He will take care of you throughout the rest of the year. 

Pray this prayer: Dear God, I come before you ready to sow my first fruit offering. Speak to my heart what you would have me to give. I will be obedient to listen to your voice, and will sow my seed joyfully, believing that you will take care of me. I trust in you and honor you with my seed.
