Today’s Scripture
“Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the transgressor is hard [like the barren, dry soil or the impassable swamp]. Every prudent man deals with knowledge, but a [self-confident] fool exposes and flaunts his folly. A wicked messenger falls into evil, but a faithful ambassador brings healing. Poverty and shame come to him who refuses instruction and correction, but he who heeds reproof is honored. Satisfied desire is sweet to a person; therefore it is hateful and exceedingly offensive to [self-confident] fools to give up evil [upon which they have set their hearts]. He who walks [as a companion] with wise men is wise, but he who associates with [self-confident] fools is [a fool himself and] shall smart for it.”
Proverbs 13:15-20

Today’s Thought
It’s your job to get around the wise in whatever you want to do. In every field of life you should be on the lookout for people who have wisdom and stick around them. Take a look at your inner circle and remove yourself from the fools.

Today’s Confession
Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to find wise people for everything I want to pursue. Help me to know where to look and give me the boldness to pursue relationship when I find them. And thank you for helping me remove myself from fools who would seek to distract me from your plan and guidance.
