Day 13: Friday, January 17th
Today's Topic: Healing
Read Psalm 41:1-3 AMP: 1Blessed [by God’s grace and compassion] is he who considers the helpless; The Lord will save him in the day of trouble. 2The Lord will protect him and keep him alive; And he will be called blessed in the land; You do not hand him over to the desire of his enemies.3The Lord will sustain and strengthen him on his sickbed; In his illness, You will restore him to health.
Think about this: One of the benefits of salvation is healing. Isaiah 53:5 tells us "5But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. Jesus took sickness upon Himself at the cross so that we could experience healing and wholeness."
If you are in need of healing in your body, as you fast ask God to reveal to you if there is something you haven’t previously been aware of. Stand on His Word for healing. Spend some time reading scriptures about healing. The Bible says that it is health for your bones. Strengthen your faith through confessing God’s Word about healing.
Pray this prayer: Dear God, Thank you for your promise that you will restore my health. I believe you and will stand on Your Word. Thank you for taking my sickness upon you so that I can be healed.
